Claudia Schildknecht, at first glance a confusing conglomerate with various transdisciplinary characteristics.
She’s mainly working as a freelance visual artist in longterm projects mostly focusing on the interaction and relationship of society within nature. The visual reproduction with the help of the camera is becoming therefore more of an act of exploration. Nature is a gift and a wonder per se. All the multitude of life forms - so divers and so shimmeringly beautiful - is extraordinarily inspiring for her in an artistic perspective. Althought she thinks we will never comprehend nature, the life circle and our respond to it till the very last drop.
Additionally to visual arts, she is a tattoo artist, started with the transdisciplinary collective "Biotop der Relevanz", founded the „SILC Tattoo After Care“ GmbH, is leading the „Tomorrow is another morning“ company, founded the NPO "Volta" and inititated the project „Thiep Bou Bess“ together with Fatma Sokhna Diop.
